Manila Ocean Park

Last Saturday, we went to Manila Ocean Park. Since flash was not allowed inside, I had no good shots inside. But sharing some anyway. :)

thanks for looking. :)

Summer Fun

Have you re-scrapped a picture? When I first scrapped this picture, I wasn’t sure what style I want. Plus I don’t have the kits that I really like. Several weeks later (and xx dollars poorer hehe), I scrapped the same picture again.

And who knows, after a year, I might just scrap this picture again. ;)

{mad}

For Cooking Decorating 101, I scrapped my daughter’s picture taken when we went out for a swim at Pansol (hot springs). But the water was so hot, it was irritating to dip into the pool. So my daughter was in no mood for swimming. I so love this picture that I am currently using it for my desktop calendar too. :)

Journaling:
You did not want to swim. They were teasing you and kept splashing you with water. I watched you to see if you will cry. Instead you got mad.

Quirky Me

Buge tagged her twittermates. And I’m one of them. Thanks Buge! :)

Here’s six unimportant things/habits/quirks about myself.

  • I don’t like warm seats or beds. I like them cold and fresh.
  • I’ll always prefer tomato-based dish over others.
  • I don’t eat any viand with gata.
  • I have the do-your-best-or-do-nothing attitude (which I think is bad. ‘coz when I feel something isn’t going to work, I’m too lazy to even try).
  • I’m a pillow person.
  • I have an affinity for the letter “B” (bloggerhappy and berryscrappy for my blogs, beachwear/bubblegum/blockmate for my free themes and borderline/blueberry/buttercup for my other free themes)

Tagging Kelly, Vannie and Eds. :)

Nice freebies

ABCs

Rule #1: Copy all the links below and replace a single link under the appropriate letter of the alphabet. If your domain name, or even the title of your blog, starts with an “A,” you’d replace the link under that letter and put the replaced link at the bottom. Also, don’t forget to credit the tagger, or where you got the list from, at the end of the list with a full URL of the post so that a pingback gets generated.

A. A Detour
B. BERRYSCRAPPY.com
C. caffeine-overload.com
D. Different Faces of Me
E. everythingandanythingblog.com
F. forumfinder.net
G. GeekMomMashup.com
H. happykeg.com
I. I am blogger-happy.
J. joanjoyce.com/blog
K. keyboardmonologues.blogspot.com
L. lifeinlenses.blogspot.com
M. mind bubbles
N. notjustmama.net
O. originalmx5.net
P. peapodsquadstuff.com
Q. qweddings.com
R. rhyan.net
S. Something Purple
T. TenaciousCreations.com
U. utada-online.net
V. vanity kit
W. working it
X. xaviermedia.com
Y. yimto.com
Z. zbudapest.com

Replaced link: Beautifulandhappy.com and ipentimento.com Previous tagger: A Detour

Rule #2: You now have to “tag” at least five people and encourage them to participate. Remember, though, that not everyone is into these kinds of things, so don’t be upset if they don’t participate. Just simply replace your tag. Remember to tag blogs only and no pornographic ones as we do want to keep the integrity as a blogging community.

I am tagging: Vannie and Apols. I know you’ve done this tag but we all need meme in this crucial time LOL! Aminin =P.

Arte y Pico

I got an award from Vannie. Thanks girl. You’re the sweetest! :)

Thanks Mich for giving me this award too.

The Rules:
1) You have to pick 5 blogs that you consider deserve this award for their creativity, design, interesting material, and also for contributing to the blogging community, no matter what language.
2) Each award has to have the name of the author and also a link to his or her blog to be visited by everyone.
3) Each award winner has to show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given her or him the award itself.
4) Award-winner and the one who has given the prize have to show the link of “Arte y Pico” blog, so everyone will know the origin of this award.

I’m awarding this to: Tracy, Gwacie and Jaja.

LO Share

I remember blogging that I want the Occasions kit from SP. I bought it when they had their sale. And as you all know, I have been on scrapping hiatus for a long time now. So lately, I am scrapping mostly old pictures.

I’d like to share the front page of my daughter’s first birthday album. (I am still contemplating on how many LOs I should do if I plan to have it printed. Ten? Twenty?)

Credits:
Occasions Kit (Shabby Princess)
Fontologie} Giggle (I got this font for free during the SP Sale)
M Alpha from Twirl Kit (Shabby Princess)
Green stitching from Bounce Kit (Shabby Princess)
Party Hat from Party Graphics (I got this for free too during the SP Sale)
Green ric-rac (used as flower stems) from Smell My Feet (Shabby Princess)

Since the second birthday is fast approaching, I better start scrapping the rest of the first birthday party album soon. ;)

NSD Shopping

I was trying to keep myself from checking the stores. The initial plan was NOT to shop. But as always, I wasn’t able to help myself and bought 3 kits that are on my wishlist. But at least, I got this kit for free:

Ok. Enough shopping, time to scrap! I mean, really now. ;)

Between Snuffy and Barney

I grew up watching Sesame Street and Batibot so naturally, I’d like Mikee to watch DVDs of these shows. (Side story: I have a cousin who, at the age of 2, can read. I tested him and he was able to read ”Caution: Men at work” while we are at the mall. I asked my aunt how did that happen. According to her, my cousin watches Sesame Street everyday since he was 6 months old.) Since no Batibot DVDs can be found, I bought several Sesame Street DVDs on sale.

Unfortunately, Mikee got scared at the sight of Snuffalufagus. Geez. I always thought Snuffy is so adorable.

Oh well, I guess, Barney still rules the house. ;)
