Arte y Pico

I got an award from Vannie. Thanks girl. You’re the sweetest! :)

Thanks Mich for giving me this award too.

The Rules:
1) You have to pick 5 blogs that you consider deserve this award for their creativity, design, interesting material, and also for contributing to the blogging community, no matter what language.
2) Each award has to have the name of the author and also a link to his or her blog to be visited by everyone.
3) Each award winner has to show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given her or him the award itself.
4) Award-winner and the one who has given the prize have to show the link of “Arte y Pico” blog, so everyone will know the origin of this award.

LO Share

I remember blogging that I want the Occasions kit from SP. I bought it when they had their sale. And as you all know, I have been on scrapping hiatus for a long time now. So lately, I am scrapping mostly old pictures.

I’d like to share the front page of my daughter’s first birthday album. (I am still contemplating on how many LOs I should do if I plan to have it printed. Ten? Twenty?)

Credits:
Occasions Kit (Shabby Princess)
Fontologie} Giggle (I got this font for free during the SP Sale)
M Alpha from Twirl Kit (Shabby Princess)
Green stitching from Bounce Kit (Shabby Princess)
Party Hat from Party Graphics (I got this for free too during the SP Sale)
Green ric-rac (used as flower stems) from Smell My Feet (Shabby Princess)

Since the second birthday is fast approaching, I better start scrapping the rest of the first birthday party album soon. ;)

NSD Shopping

I was trying to keep myself from checking the stores. The initial plan was NOT to shop. But as always, I wasn’t able to help myself and bought 3 kits that are on my wishlist. But at least, I got this kit for free:

Ok. Enough shopping, time to scrap! I mean, really now. ;)

Between Snuffy and Barney

I grew up watching Sesame Street and Batibot so naturally, I’d like Mikee to watch DVDs of these shows. (Side story: I have a cousin who, at the age of 2, can read. I tested him and he was able to read ”Caution: Men at work” while we are at the mall. I asked my aunt how did that happen. According to her, my cousin watches Sesame Street everyday since he was 6 months old.) Since no Batibot DVDs can be found, I bought several Sesame Street DVDs on sale.

Unfortunately, Mikee got scared at the sight of Snuffalufagus. Geez. I always thought Snuffy is so adorable.

Oh well, I guess, Barney still rules the house. ;)

ready…set…
