payday options

With different due dates for your utility bills and credit card bills, don’t you sometimes wish you have a different payday method at work? Most get paid twice a month which works well on month-end due dates but how about those bills that are due on the first Friday of the month (perhaps like your mobile phone bill)? Don’t you feel so moneyed on a certain payday and yet, empty-handed on the next?

MyPayDate.com is a service online that can help you with these problems. You can choose whenever you want to get paid. Strategically, you can opt to get paid on the 9th for your credit cards, 19th (amortizations) and 29th for your utility bills. Whatever works for you, MyPayDate.com lets you decide on your payday preference. Plus, MyPayDate.com can help you save up by instructing them to put aside a part of your income and giving it to you when you wanted it. This is especially helpful for tuition fees and family trips. minty freebie

You’ve probably seen who Miss Mint is. And golly, isn’t she so pretty?! :D

Anyway, here’s the freebie from Peppermint Creative. Click on the image to go to their download page.

Nice huh?

itchy?

Hmm, my scrapping mojos aren’t back yet. So I guess I could just leave you with this cute picture of BG scratching her butt.

Happy weekend!

Reasons why I think people fall in love with these things:

DSLR – some things are better off captured with full details, or maybe, details you just want to focus on. You can even see the facial cat hairs on portraits. You instantly see the object taking the focus off on any other distractions.

P&S – very handy, cheaper and yes, like what it’s called, you just point and then shoot. I don’t know about you but I seemed to look more appealing on pictures taken by P&S than by a DSLR. Why? Because the skin looks smoother, no zits and looks like there’s no need for any acne treatment. Well, that’s because, the lens are not as powerful as that of a DSLR.

Lomo – simply because imperfection is an art. And the cameras are just so cute! Don’t you think?

my nail polish

Your Nail Polish Color is Red

How you’re unique: You have an incredible eye for style and art

Why your style rocks: You are classic and classy – and that’s hot!

What this color says about you: “I’m smart, sassy, and sexy. And I know it.”

I haven’t tried a red nail polish though. Maybe I can be daring next week and choose that color on my next visit to the parlor for my manicure and pedicure. Then I’d probably wear white clothes most of the time.

Anyway, I’ll get back to browsing for some instructional manuals on fence installation and more stuff for our Christmas shopping. Catch you later. ;)

look closely

Here’s one picture taken by hubby’s teammate Stephen. I love it!

Why? If you look closely, you’d see the swimming pool. :)

I’m quite sure Stephen’s original intention was just to take picture of BG’s eyelashes. That’s why experts advise to just shoot and shoot. You’ll never know when a masterpiece is just waiting to happen. :)

~

Notice how hairy BG is? She got the hairy forehead, upper lip and sideburns from me. Don’t worry sweetheart, mommy knows a lot of facial waxing and threading experts in town. Hahaha. The thick eyebrows, long curly eyelashes and her “figure” she got from her dad. Again, no worries, for there are countless fat burners in the market. ;)

another excuse

First, I never liked being dependent on anybody. Yes, I think it’s sweet to be a bit dependent on your spouse sometimes. It’s one way to make the other feel important. It’s a sweet gesture especially even if the other knows that you can survive on your own. But when it comes to other people, I don’t. When I say other people, it means people who are not family or close friends.

I haven’t scrapped yet simply because I am still waiting for the “better” pictures taken by hubby’s teammates. Of course, these people are back to work and too busy to even download the pictures from their camera, much more to upload them online. I understand completely.

This is the reason why I want to buy our DSLR soon. Palusot pa ‘no?

i need to go out more often

Time: 12:13 AM
Mood: sleepy (yes, I’m about to sleep. I should sleep, I’m getting up early later.)

Geez, this is a scrap blog. Then why don’t I have any more scraps? Hehehe. It’s because I rarely take pictures nowadays. Well, anyway, we are going for a swim tomorrow. Hopefully, I’d take some snapshots and get inspired to write something. Yes, write. I think that’s the direction I want to lean towards to. The pages would be journal with a picture instead of the other way around.

Speaking of our swimming this weekend, while I was choosing what swimwear to bring, I noticed that my tummy is getting bigger again. Golly, maybe I should take some diet pills. I hate the bulge. I was trying to encourage BG to eat more solid over her milk but it looks like I was the one getting encouraged. Yikes!

Aha!

I finally figured out what I did from Monday to Thursday this week that I don’t normally do. The reason I wanted to know was because I’m trying to figure out what’s causing the migraines. As much as I wanted that it is pregnancy, it is not.

It’s just CAFFEINE! Well, more like lack of it. It has been part of my daily morning routine to drink coffee. But this week, I skipped breakfast unintentionally, thus, skipped coffee too.

wishful thinking

After sleeping for 9 hours, I thought that today I won’t have any migraine like I did yesterday. I’m not sure if it’s the lights in the office or the glare from my laptop that’s triggering the migraine.

I remember my mom always telling me whenever I have migraines during college days, that all I need is good blood circulation. So she always suggested exercise or a full body massage. Hmm, a massage isn’t such a bad idea, especially if the masseuse is an expert and was trained at massage therapy schools. Ah, I could imagine the smooth bony fingers sliding down from my neck down to my entire back.

Hmm, maybe I’m just pregnant. Hahaha. I say wishful thinking! :D

no more migraine please

I had a terrible headache last night. I had to skip dinner just to be in bed earlier than usual. I figure the headache was caused by the hours of sleep missed the previous night. I also missed my nightly routine like putting on my Proactiv acne cream. I sort of jumped into bed right after I washed my face.

But I had to wake up early today just to continue what I was supposed to finish at work last night. I just hope this doesn’t trigger another migraine today.

party-hopping

BG had a blast yesterday. She was jumping up and down, running to and fro like a turbocharger. Why wouldn’t when you received 2 nice loot bags full of toys and candies in just one day? :)

Our friends’ kids celebrated their first birthdays on the same day. The two kids are actually cousins so everyone was surprised that the parents planned the parties that way. Or maybe, they didn’t just consult each other. Who cares? The kids were just happy to have attended two parties in one day. Come to think of it, we adults do the same thing often.
