Obviously, I woke up early today even if it’s a Saturday and that I fell asleep 2am this morning. I had to finish some more pending work. I have informed my officemates that I won’t be available today till Monday.

Anyway, I prepared the gifts. Yes, I love cramming. I prepared two set of clothes for Mikee that would both match her Dansko shoes so that I don’t need to bring another pair. One for today’s Twitter EB and another for tomorrow’s MBAP’s party. We are going to sleep at the hotel so we’re bringing a lot of our things that we look like we’re moving out of our house.

When I went to the mall this morning, I saw another adorable yet affordable halloween costume. But I restrained myself from buying because I have just bought one, and no need for another.

I just hope I’d be able to take more pictures this year. Btw, sharing last year’s picture. This one was a stolen shot.

I also noticed how much Mikee has grown since then. Gosh, if you’d see Mikee now, she is such a big girl!

Last Sunday while I was taking my afternoon nap, my mother called me asking for a little favor. She was asking us to go to the nearest mall and ask this certain supplier (who has no outlet but just selling in a bazaar) why the equipment that they bought were not delivered. They promised to deliver early Sunday morning and it was 5pm, and no deliveries yet. My mom was worried they have been scammed. I asked her what they have bought. She told me two LCD HDTV’s (Two? Who buys two at once? In a bazaar?!), air dehumidifier and a wine holder.

So I got up the bed and asked hubby if we can go to the nearest mall soon. He insisted that my mom should wait another day. He said that based on experience, equipment are delivered 2-3 days. And they are notoriously late. I said, my mom was really worried so hubby gave in to my request. Just when we were driving off from our parking, my mom called. Yup, the delivery van had just arrived. I hate it when the husband is right.

Since halloween is just around the corner, I sort of looked around for halloween-themed freebies. I got this from Funky Playground Designs.

Yesterday I went to a toy store to buy some gifts for our upcoming party. I saw several Halloween costumes. Since teacher Beth told us that on October 25, there will be a halloween treat for the kids and the kids will come in costumes for class, plus I also saw that a mall near our place will also hold a trick-or-treat later that afternoon, I decided Mikee should have a costume soon.

I chose a costume that would compliment my old halloween kit. She didn’t want to try the costume on though. It even has a wig. Lookie:

Sadly, Mikee didn’t want to put it on again after she took it off. So I guess, she won’t be wearing the wig on trick-or-treat.

It is no secret that I wanted to buy 5 toys for myself this Christmas (and birthday, ahem). But with recent events on my cyber life got me wanting to hold on to my cyber money. Hehehe. Plus, it got me thinking to buy a Nintendo Wii instead rather than spend on toys that only I will enjoy. With wii, hubby and I can have some bonding while playing. Plus, it can make hubby get up on his feet more often. Hehe.

Or another option is to buy the 5 toys for myself, and the Nintendo Wii but the DSLR will have to wait again. Well, got more than a month to decide on it.

The three little elves are gone. So sad. They’ve been here for quite some time. Never really got them working that hard. Just the usual workload. But now, they’re gone. Maybe a nudge to remind me that I should scrap more and blog less. Or that I should restrain myself from shopping. Looks like my dreams of having a family Disney vacations will have to wait for a looooooong time. Now what?

Just when it’s just two months till Christmas… **sigh**
