LO share!

I know I’ve promised myself I won’t share layouts online so as to lift off some pressure from my scrapping mojos. But I’m starting to feel this blog is deprived of layouts. :P

So I’m sharing one layout from Mikee’s first birthday photobook.

I know, I know. The layout would look more appealing if the elements and photos placed on the lower part but you see it would make the spread out of balance. (Sorry, I won’t share the other half — placed on the left part of the spread — I am not that confident with that layout hehehe) I have placed a big heavy embellishment on the lower right (quadrant IV if you remember your math) and a space on the upper right (quadrant I) of that other layout.

But thanks to Twitter and my friends there, where we not only discuss shopping, online trading and motherhood but also photography and scrapbooks, I found inspiration for the other spreads I’m doing next for my other photobooks. :)

looking for the best deal

As most of my online friends know, I had been wanting to buy a DSLR this Christmas. While all hubby wants is a Nintendo Wii or an Xbox. I had been browsing the net for the best offer. So it’s either I wait to win a bid at auctions or go for the best buy at buy.com. I had been scouting for the best deal for 6 months now just so that we can buy with our limited budget. Geez, why can’t I just win the lottery? :D
