finally! whew!

It was such an adrenaline rush!

My FIL (father-in-law) called hubby informing us that the Nikon d80 (body and kit) is no longer available at the electronics shops around his place. He told us that there’s a Nikon d60 which is a lot more affordable, and a Canon 450d which was one of our two choices. So it was a toss between a Nikon d60 and a Canon 450d.

Mind you, he was calling from his mobile while roaming around the stores. Yes, it was a long distance call asking us of our final decision. I was panicking. I ran to the other room to go infront of the PC and bumped my knee on the tv stands just to ask online. I twitted asking my online (photo addicts and digiscrapping moms like me)  friends about their own opinion. At the same time, I went to my fave DSLR review site to compare the two.

Then we decided we’d go for the Nikon d60 because I am so set to having a Nikon now (I even know the domain name I’d use for my gallery and the multiply account I plan to sign up in case we purchase a Nikon HAHAHA. Yes, that’s how planned it was). Hubby knows how much I like Nikon.

My FIL called again. We told him we decided that it’s Nikon d60. Then he said that the Canon 450d has a free tripod. And that the d60 doesn’t have an in-body vibration reduction.

So there… We just bought a new DSLR.
