who’s next?

When I was younger, lego was simply the craze. Now there are a couple of other mega building sets. I found this inside our office recreation room today. According to its manual, you can create a lot of possible things with the toy.

Alas, my daughter just used it as a confetti.
Fine, it says ages 5-12. No wonder, 30 minutes later, the grown-ups were the ones playing with it.

You guessed it right. I’ve stopped scrapping. I met up with fellow digiscrappers last Friday and attended a reunion last Saturday. We visited my parents and shopped for industrial equipment last Sunday. And I was swamped with work Monday and Tuesday.
I’m too sleepy to do anything after work for the past two days. I’ve lost my momentum. It’s now past the 35% discount sale at Artscow, and my 2 free photobooks are expiring soon. I don’t think I can make it to the deadline. Sigh. I honestly thought I’d finally be able to finish even just one photobook in time.
Funny, it even crossed my mind to start from scratch using different sets of templates. Tsk, tsk. Yeah, here we go again.

I found a very nice template freebie on the net! So I tried the template and here’s what I’ve created using it.

You can download the template from here. Take note, it’s her first template, and it’s so nice!
Our good friend (aka one of my idols in scrapping, both in paper and digital) and fellow Bebot, Diane, gave us a very nice surprise last Friday at the Bebots meet-up. For most of us, it was our first time to meet her in person although I’ve chatted with her so often. I’ve even shared secrets with her.
Thanks for this Diane. This is really precious. I really appreciate it. Why, it’s now displayed at our place!

Mind you, these are paper scraps!
I took a lot of photos that day, well aside from Trin’s boudoir photographs, that I requested for hubby to expand our computer memory. I’m pretty sure there will be more photo shoots on the next meet-ups.
Stuck in a rut? It’s time to spice things up and keep the flame of romance burning. There are several ways to do that, according to the experts. But I’d say, if it’s the responsibilities at home and work that stressing you both out, better find a good honeymoon vacation package. As experts say, set the scene.
At Karisma Hotels and Resorts, they have honeymoon and anniversary packages that would definitely set the mood. You can enjoy a private candle light dinner for two on the beach, and a chilled bottle of champagne delivered to your room. There’s even a couple massage for half an hour. Get your ebrochure now!
You are probably busy finishing a photobook to take advantage of the freebies.
Yesterday, I received another email from artscow again informing me of free 6 photobooks! Just use the gift certificate code FREE6BKS. Hurry! This expires on April 30.
For new members, you just have to go to Credits&Discounts (link on left sidebar), and validate the code. Artscow has made a fan out of me. Honestly, when I find sites that amuses me, Facebook or Artscow among others, I wonder if they have opening for IT or admin careers. Wouldn’t it be just cool to work for a company you love?
