love the colors. love the patterns.
When I saw the new Lemonade kit from Basic Grey, I knew I have seen it somewhere. And then I saw a sample layout made by Kelly Goree.

I suddenly remember where.

before and after
It is early in the morning and yet I am reading some diet pill reviews. You probably wondering why? It’s because I feel so guilty with what I ate this weekend. Just like one yummy cake from Alex Franco that was served during the MBAPs birthday celebration.
Here are the lovely June celebrants:

After half an hour and tons of chatting:
Friday fun
Last Friday, hubby’s team went out to have a laser tag game, care of the July birthday celebrants of the two teams. I did bring a camera even if I was told that’s not allowed inside. I just thought I could take a snapshot of them wearing their gear holding their lasers. That would have been cool. But I guess they won’t allow that, probably included in their package to have pictures inside. Not really sure because I was too lazy to check the prices on the reception area.
I thought I would be forced to play with them. I’m not really a game person. I don’t like physical games. The only reason I play bowling or badminton was to “bond” with friends/families. Anyway, I was relieved that I needed not with them. I remember playing something like this way way back in the 90s somewhere in Megamall. And in my opinion, the money was wasted because I just sort of hid most of the time.
Yeah, I know, loser, right? :p
Oh, I took few shots of them outside the place. At least, they have a group pic. Most pictures were taken at Trellis, where we had dinner after. All expense paid by the celebrants. THANKS! ![]()

On our way home, we tuned in to Monster Radio and they were doing some sort of a poll: what kind of horse would you want to be seen with. Hmm, like I said I’m not really a “physical activity” type of person so I’d prefer a pony, which I’d care for like a cat, just making her pretty.
Aside from her regular horse supplements, she’ll have the cutest accessories. In short, my pet pony would look very much like a small unicorn sans the horn.

interior design services
Most women (mostly mommies, photography enthusiasts or scrappers) I know are hooked to making their homes look as closely as what they’ve seen in those lifestyle magazines. So many hours were spent on watching lifestyle shows, surfing interior design tutorials and reading interior design magazines.
But if you like an exceptional interior design for your house, why not go to the experts? They have custom design services such as window treatments, floor choices and wall coverings that helps pulled it all together in creating the look that you want. You may not know it but additional pieces of artwork could be what your living room needs to have that elegant edge.
The challenge will always be what particular furniture you should add to get the elegant look that you desire. That’s where these experts come in. They would be able to assess your specific wants and needs, and arrive with an excellent design for your home.
travel/vacation scrapbooks
I have been looking for online travel photography tutorials when I stumbled on this nice scrap your travel & vacation tutorial here. If I’m lucky to be able to take nice travel photos, then it would be just right if I scrap them too.
Oh, they are actually for paper scrapping, but of course, we could always take a tip or two. Well, in my opinion, the tutorial sample/freebie gives an idea on how one would organize the photos and pages to tell about the family vacation/trip. PLUS, there are 4 sample sketches.
I love that it teaches simple pages like using one color of cardstock all through out the pages. Hmm, I’m starting to get motivated to get back to paper scrapping. My scrapbook materials are starting to accumulate dust now, I might have mesothelioma if I try to disturb the shelf.
There are other freebies/sample classes. I’ll try to work on this freebie first. And when I’m ready, I might actually enrol to the actual (archived) class.
new floor designs
I am so tempted to bring my camera to the office just to take pictures of the new floors. Our floor has no theme yet though. The walls are still blank. I actually love one floor in particular. I think their theme is arts and crafts. On one entrance is a photo of colorful beads and on the other side, a photo of colored pencils. Inside the pantry on that floor, one photo at the wall is scrapbook materials. It is quite inspiring to do something creative on that floor.
We have lazyboys for some conference rooms, a breastfeeding station and a clinic, just a few among the many new facilities. In my observation, the clinic in this office is more equipped than the other two offices we have, I even saw an AED in the shelf.
Speaking of conference rooms, the couches are color-matched with the printed carpets. They look like one of those we see in Interior Design magazines. I wonder who our interior decorators are.
adjustment period
We are officially on our adjustment period now as we transferred to the new office. We’ve been discussing about how hard it is to go to the office. It is just so far! And the prices of condominiums that are currently being constructed around are just sky high, at pre-selling! If only we could find an affordable lot around the area and just have one of those manufactured homes. It would make our lives so much easier. Sigh.
Anyway, the new office is surrounded by expensive strings of restaurants. Well, not really expensive but if you dine each day, you’ll definitely make a hole on your pocket. The only fastfood is McDonalds which is ok actually, but after 3 straight days of Twister Fries, your tongue would sort of get numb.
We discovered one that’s healthy, yummy and affordable : sandwich guy. I’ve tried the following:
1. HBLT – ham, bacon, lettuce and tomato and I swear it’s like a fistful of (cooked but not fried) bacon with two wheat bread on each side just to hold them together hehe.
2. creamy carbonara – quite smelly because of the cheese but it was oh-so-creamy and yummy!
3. fruit basket – banana, mango and apples with yogurt. I highly recommended you put it in the freezer for an hour first before eating.
Wait, just to be clear, I ordered them in different days ok? I don’t eat that much.
I say, yum-my!
itching to update wardrobe
Do you notice how many fabulous yet affordable clothes out there only they are only available in free sizes? I used to enjoy this simple privilege. I can dress up even in a tight budget. But now that I gained a lot of weight, I had to save up or wait for end of season sales in order to update my wardrobe.
I am currently browsing for fat burners that I can order online. And I read these Betastax reviews. I’m still thinking which the best is for me. Hmmm.
I guess I try to lessen the in-between snacks. If it doesn’t help in losing weight, I guess I have to accept I’m now one size bigger. Tsk, tsk.
