as seen in the movies

I’ve never seen real gold bars in my life. All I know is they are great investment products. They can be passed on from one generation to another. I was told that investing in gold is like preserving one’s wealth and purchasing power. It’s the same with jewelry collection, just bigger amounts of gold.

I remember when I was younger seeing those gold bars in the movies, mostly about discovering them in a hidden cave. I even thought as a youngster I could possibly find one in our backyard. My siblings and I use that same storyline during playtime. We imagined finding one, and buying lots of cuddly toys and stationeries. Ah, the simple joys of a child.

backup storage

I am frustrated with some of my old DVDs. I couldn’t get some of the photos anymore that I was planning to copy to my EHD. So there, DVD isn’t much of a good backup storage. Someone suggested why not use the laptop as the backup storage. Well that is because I’m using an office laptop. I still can’t decide between desktop or a laptop for personal use. I’m currently reading computer reviews to help me search to match my needs. Actually I just need something that I can use for blogging and digiscrapping. All other features are just bonus.

waiting time

I’ve been trying to convince my sister-in-law to have her Multiply account restored. Simply because I want to get her side of the story. What story? Our family vacation that happened last year. I kept thinking no matter how much I’ve blogged about the trip, I may have missed something relevant. And I know she had them on her blog. That was before she cancelled her account.

I didn’t push the idea much though. After all, she’s still a student and busy with her gmat prep. I’m not sure though if she’s enrolled at Knewton known for having the most dynamic instructors and classes being interactive, and most importantly, higher scores.

That’s ok. I can wait. :D

a good start

As you know I am currently digiscrapping our photos. And quite expectedly, I find myself in search of the perfect kit for a certain set of pictures taken in a certain event. Sometimes, it’s nice to have the perfect kit with the perfect colors and perfect elements to go along with all the ideas in your head. Hahaha.

While cyber shopping, I found a really nice wedding kit. It is simple, yet I think it matches the style that is gradually emerging from all my scrap pages. The thing is, I am not scrapping our wedding pictures. Haha.

So yes, I scrambled to check my wedding stuff to see if I can justify buying that nice kit. Good thing that it took me hours checking my gown and unity coins that the desire to shop has subside.

It was nice seeing the unity coins again. They are our very first set of gold coins given by my father for our wedding. He believes that gold is a good investment product. And in order to entice us to invest more on gold, he gave us some…. little ones. Hahaha.
