Hubby is planning to upgrade our desktop computer. I was surprised of this plan since the PC has 500GB hard disk. But his defense was the memory isn’t enough as he always download movies and TV series from the internet. Plus my digital kits are taking a big chunk of the space too. So after attending mass this morning, we went to the mall to do some windowshopping. As he looked for the 1 terabyte hard disk replacement, I went on checking for 1 terabyte EHD but can’t find any. Instead, I thought it would be nice to buy a 17-inch Rackmount lcd that I saw to replace our old 17” bulky monitor.

Hmm, I wonder if a big memory and a kick-ass monitor are just what I need to get my scrapping mojos back into the groove.

A friend was chatting with my husband last night then suddenly remember how fit hubby was about 4 years ago. He started asking hubby how he was able to lose the flab and buffed up. This friend was talking about some years ago when hubby was still actively working out in the gym four times a week. The husband shared that when buffing up, high protein diets are helpful. Hubby and I are excited to plan our vacation trips for the year. On March we will go to Bohol to spend the summer with friends. Then sometime in October, we will go to one Asian country in time for the celebration of my sister in law’s birthday.

Ok, you might be wondering what ever happened to my little experiment. The one where hubby will be the one holding the camera and taking pictures. Well, the hubby didn’t want to take pictures. He insisted we were just guests and should just have our pictures taken instead. Mind you, the party was full of people holding their SLR’s too taking pictures of their kids!

We went swimming with friends over the weekend. The last time we went at that vacation house was April last year. It has been a while. This vacation house is the group’s favorite. Aside from it being free, it is quite spacious. Plus, the group can sometimes be sentimental. They had been going to that house for vacation since their teenage years. Although some things had been changed like the new Delta faucets on one bathroom that had a sauna inside (yes, a steam room inside the bathroom! Nice huh?), the house still brings back good memories to hubby and his friends.

First off, I’m so thankful that the three elves are back here. Good way to start the year, right?

Second, hubby started picking up Candice once in a while. In fact, I like most of his shots better than mine.

Third, if you believe in that “whatever you do on the first day of the year, you will be doing the entire year” saying, well, I guess we did great! We spent time with family and friends yesterday.

Geez, I have so much entry on my journal about the activities done yesterday but only 3 things I can write online. [wink][wink]

2009 is another great year, huh?

Hubby and I both agree that this year is the most “Christmassy” year ever in our married life. We can’t pinpoint exactly why. Maybe because this year, we were so blessed, that we were able to share our blessings to others too. Or it could be that we have gained so much new friends this year.

Even at home, the ambience is very good. I could feel it at the moment I wake up. It could be the cool breeze. Or the new church finally built just few steps from our house where we attend the dawn masses. Hmm, I just feel everyone’s happy this year. No hang-ups, no jealousy, no regrets. It seems that this Christmas gives everyone a feeling of blessedness. Everything’s so light and happy.

I hope it continues to be…. for the next years to come, like forever, perhaps?

I tried taking pictures of hubby during our Christmas party. Not wanting to be in pictures, he kept on moving whenever I take his pictures knowing that the image would be blurred. But then, his team mate offered to take a picture of us.

Hmm, I wonder why my lips look purple here. To match my dress perhaps?
