Before going to our Hong Kong trip last week, I told myself I won’t be taking much effort in taking pictures. I’d wanted it to be a relaxed family vacation.

True enough, when I got home after the trip, I wasn’t quite satisfied with the photos that I’ve taken. I realized I would have taken a lot of photos of the Halloween decors and attractions at Disney if I didn’t psyche myself into NOT taking much pictures. But at least I was relaxed.

I was teasing the husband that since we have visited Hong Kong Disneyland, the family should visit other branches too. I asked him “Should I start browsing for orlando vacation rentals?” He just gave me that confused look.

Aside from the swimming outing next Saturday, MBAPs (mommy bloggers) met up last Friday with Apols who is in the country. Although Jane and Jacqui didn’t make it as planned, the gathering of the 6 mommies, myself included, proved to be a riot.

We went to Conti’s. I forgot the exact name of the pasta I ordered, I think it’s Italian pasta special(???). After which, I had my usual slice of mango bravo. Plus a cup of coffee, which I never got the complimentary refill because I was just too full.

We chatted about mommy matters from non-trivial Philips Heartstart Onsite sale to the juiciest secrets.

I enjoy interpreting my dreams. I sometimes get clue on some things from them. Anyway, last night, I dreamt that my laundry (not dirty but all clean) of whites and light colors are out to dry in a public place. Well, now that I am awake I realize that none of the shirts or plus size corsets in my dream I actually own in real life. But of course, in my dream, I own them.

The second set of laundry, the dark ones are (also public but not as public as the white ones but) still soaked in a big tub. But then I sort of accidentally took off the plug which drained not only the water but the clothes as well. I think the dream dragged on with me trying to save the dark clothes, which again I do not own in real life.

The dream got me curious. I’d like to know the underlying message so I looked it up:

Seeing a dirty laundry is a warning that your friendship is in doubt, because of your careless behaviour. Dreaming about clean laundry is a sign of a good health and prosperous future.

If you are hanging a load of laundry out to dry, then something you prefer to keep hidden will soon become public knowledge – as in the metaphor, “airing your dirty laundry.” But if you’re taking your laundry down, folding it, and/or putting it away, don’t worry – your secrets are safe.

So let’s see. The whites and light colored ones would give me good health and prosperity. But since they are in public/ out to dry, some of my secrets will be public. While the dark ones, hmm, would mean my old dark secrets will be forgotten “down the drain” accidentally?

Or I should be doing my laundry this weekend, perhaps?

As a beginner in Photography, I can’t quite capture all the things that I want in an event. For example, when we go out for a swim or go to a party, I take pictures as much as I can. But when I get home and look at my shots, I realized that I took too many pictures of people when I should have taken more pictures of the fishes (when we went to the Oceanarium), or I took too many pictures of things and food when I should have taken more pictures of people (during parties).

Ideally, I want to be like those wedding photographers who can “capture the moment” every time. In this way, it would be easier for me to scrap those pages.

Tomorrow, we are going to a kiddie birthday party. So I told hubby that for the event, he should be the one to hold the camera. We are going without the nanny so I’ll take care of BG. This may seem orchestrated but I asked hubby to take pictures of me and BG while we are having fun at the party e.g. watching the magic show, etc.
