my Instax bag.

I finally found a nice bag for my Instax that doesn’t cost as much as those cute ones I found in Etsy. Lookie!

I’m thinking if I should give something like this to a friend who just opened her own business. She owns an Instax and likes pink stuff too. Unfortunately, this is currently out of stock according to the seller. And I need to buy any confection congratulations gifts for my friend soon.

I bet she’d be happy to receive a cake or anything sweet too! Perhaps, a strawberry flavored cake? :)

Documenting 2012

I’m thinking if I should use PopBooth for my face-a-day 2012 project. I’ve been taking shots of myself when bored and stuck in traffic on our way to work.

What do you think? :D Yeah yeah but if I’d be doing a face-a-day, I’d probably take shots of my kids’ faces instead of mine.

Like yesterday, I just had to take a photo of myself. Yeah, vain!

Also yesterday, while busy working, an officemate suddenly exclaimed “Yay! I got reward cards and a new lot!” We all smiled at her in a bit of congratulatory manner, and then she suddenly felt shy and told us she’s just playing a game on her ipod. :lol:

~~~
I’m seriously planning to document our 2012. I’m just not sure yet if I’d do it via Instagram, PopBooth or Project Life (using polaroids but that would be toooooooo expensive). But I’m definitely going to keep a diary again, as in an offline diary, then I can just stick a polaroid whenever I have film sheets. :P
a little something
I’ve been wanting to start planning the family budget for 2012 but honestly, it scares me. :lol: For one, we are going on a local trip next summer… and Theo’s turning 1 (and it’s customary to throw a party on the 1st birthday)… and Mikee is likely to be enrolling to a big school… and we are moving to our new house too. *FAINT*
So even if I wanted to shop for new stuff like equestrian helmets and a new phone before Christmas, I can’t bring myself to. I’d be very guilty.
But I bought a little something for myself, which will arrive Manila on Dec 23rd. I won’t disclose it yet (but if you’re following me on Instagram, you know). I’ll blog about it once it arrives. ;)
Guilty Pleasure
Written by Sonny Quinn
All my friends had been telling me about this crazy awesome show created by Kurt Sutter on the FX network. I couldn’t take it anymore so I downloaded all the past seasons and before I knew it, I was hooked! Sons of Anarchy became my guilty pleasure in a heartbeat and so I knew I had to log onto www.tvbydirect.com and upgrade my package so I could get the FX network before the new season started. Let me just say this is money well spent! This is a show that keeps you wanting more every week. It is the middle of the fourth season and I cannot even begin to predict which direction the show is going to take. The story and complex relationships grow more twisted with every episode. I’m fascinated by how a team of writers, producers, and directors can create a well-rounded story line such as this. Needless to say, I will be watching tonight to get caught up what happens next and I know I will be left wanting more like only a great guilty pleasure can do.
ToT 2011
Last Oct 25th, the kids went trick or treat’ing in our office. At long last, Mikee was able to go as Ariel, the Little Mermaid, which she had been planning for 2 years now. I was worried she’d change her mind again. The costume was a bit big on her, still, her round tummy was quite obvious. I’m thankful that she’s not conscious about it. I really don’t want to worry about appetite control. For me, as long as she’s happy, I won’t mind if my daughter is fat or thin.
While Theo came as a football… uhm, I mean football player. :mrgreen:
A visit to Krispy Kreme
A week ago, we went to Greenhills with the kids. We came without my SIL because we planned on getting birthday gifts for her. We were able to get her two iPod cases: a plain yellow rubber type and a hard Spongebob crystal type.
Anyway, last Wednesday, my daughter went to Greenhills again with my two SILs this time. They went to Krispy Kreme. And she was so happy to wear different kinds of Halloween hats. She was also invited to design her own donuts.
It was also our first time to talk via Face Time. She was so proud of what she did that she wanted to talk to us immediately. Then she brought the donuts home for daddy and mommy to eat. Yummy!
a redhead for Halloween
I still can’t get over that Mikee won’t be a cheerleader (cheerio) this Halloween. I still kept browsing for sexy cheerleading uniforms for her. Yeah sexy. Hahaha. I was hoping she and her brother will have coordinating costumes. (I have not divulged what Theo will be, unless you’re a twitter follower. Just a couple of days more, and I will post their photos here.)
Anyway, I am slowly accepting that she’ll be mermaid this year. We tried her red wig earlier today. I was glad to see that her wig fits her well. Although I am still not comfortable seeing her in red hair with her jet black eyebrows. :lol:
I wonder how many other mermaids will show up in the office for trick or treat. Ariel is quite popular on Halloween.
Mikee the Rock Star
Mikee approached me to ask how to play guitar. Wow! Was that for real, or just one of her seasonal dreams? :lol:
My daughter wanted to be a teacher, a doctor, a ballerina, a violinist among others. See the keyword there, “wanted” because she’s now over those dreams. What stuck so far is her dream of being a chef, and I guess her interest in drawing.
Anyway, I think the guitar playing dream was heavily inspired by the Barbie the Rock star theme she wanted for her party. Just look at her drawing she kept showing me and her daddy “proposing” how her party would be with loot bags and gifts.
She even wanted to have really long blue hair for her rock star get-up. Now, that’s imagination!
sleeping comfortably.
While I was browsing Instagram, I saw a friend posted a photo of her kid’s bedroom furniture. It’s called room-in-a-box and comes with several designs that I would want for my kids: Disney princesses for my daughter and Toy Story for my son. A set includes a bed, a toy chest, a table and 2 chairs. They are inexpensive yet very cute (not to mention almost complete) to make up a kid’s room.
I maybe buying inexpensive furniture but I intend to invest on Luxury Mattress for each of the kids and another one for the master’s bedroom. This is to ensure proper sleeping position and a good night sleep. I’ve been browsing for luxury mattresses at The White Company. They carry a variety of comfortable and supportive mattresses. I am especially on the lookout of mattress with anti-bacterial layer, just an extra feature that I want for my kids’ beds that are said to prevent dust mites from reproducing. A little luxury that’s definitely worth the money.
Then I guess I could scrimp on the bed sheets and comforters, right?
Not ordering photobooks this time.
I am glad to know that Walking Dead season 2 will start in 2 weeks. I tried to download video of its trailer last night to show to husband but I found the trailer on YouTube and shared that to him instead.
~~~

I was supposed to post some photos with my list of recommended photo editors on iPhone. But my EHD was broken (I need to edit the size) and I couldn’t find our backup EHD now. Sigh. I’m a bit sad that I couldn’t work with my EHD anymore. Although my photos are, thankfully, safe because everything that’s not on our backup EHD, I still have on my laptop. Well, I got some templates and kits too that have no backup on that EHD. What I’m sad about is the photobooks I was working on. I was trying to finish it in time for the promo code’s deadline. I guess I’ll just have to do those photobooks some other time. :(

Anyway, I am still hoping something can be done so I can get whatever work I have on my EHD. I wish I know where I can have it fixed. The only thing that’s broken is the port, all other parts are intact.
