Baguio: Burnham Park

Burnham park (named after Daniel H Burnham, the American architect and town planner who laid out Baguio) features an artificial boating lake and children’s playground among others.

Wow. Isn’t that something? A park named after you? Sometimes, I wonder if I made the right decision to finish a computer course (over architecture) when I could have just taken an online it degree, simultaneously taking architecture. Hmmm, doable but not easy to juggle between two courses even if one is just an online it degree which you can take in your most convenient time.

Anyway, we were trying to bide time so we decided to visit the park for just 30 minutes. My daughter would have wanted to ride a boat but I knew 30 minutes wouldn’t be enough so we just opted to let them play in the playground.

Fun just the same, for free.
