Baguio: Strawberry Fields
Before going to Baguio, we have researched on how to get from one place to another. Every place in our itinerary was covered. Still, we got lost. We found our way, alright, only it took us longer.
La Trinidad is quite far from Session Road, and we didn’t want to waste time anymore looking for the strawberry fields. So we hired a cab, and just drove following the cab. We were there in 30 minutes (traffic was heavy but at least it wasn’t wasted on finding our way).
Since it was Sunday, a weekend, and we got there late, about 10:30am, the place was crowded. We had difficulty finding a parking space. Anyway, all the trouble was worth it, because my kids had a grand time picking their strawberries! (The last time we went to La Trinidad, I was pregnant with my son… and there were no strawberries for my daughter to pick because of a typhoon.)

A kilo of strawberries from the street vendors only costs P120-150, but if you’re picking them yourself, a kilo would cost P350. Quite high price to pay for strawberries, but a fair price to pay for the experience, fun and of course, freshness.
