Hi Thea, I came across your site today and I really love your buttercup theme. I understand it only works with wordpress. I did not have a wordpress blog and so I opened an account with them just a while ago. Here it is : http://lifewithjemi.wordpress.com/

I am not familiar with wordpress yet. Anyway, I tried to change the theme but I could not find the right place to do it. With blogger, they have ” Edit HTML ” and that’s where I go when I want to change my template. Would you be able to show me how to change my template to your buttercup theme? Thanks a lot ! Hi Jemima. Thanks for your comment. Really sweet of you to consider my theme.

Unfortunately, the free wordpress blog account allows you to choose only from the themes on their list. uploading a theme is not allowed.

(background: wordpress.com gives you a free blog account. the blog is hosted with them. while wordpress.org gives you a free blog software. the blog is hosted elsewhere. notice that i don’t have the words “wordpress.com” on my website URL. my blog is powered by wordpress but it is hosted elsewhere not with wordpress.)

free wordpress themes online can only be used in self-hosted wordpress blogs (unless wordpress.com includes that theme, some got lucky, on their list)
